CAMERA

CAMERA, the community Cyberinfrastructure for Advanced Marine microbial Ecology Research and Analysis, is a collaboration between the Scripps Genome Center, the California Institute for Telecommunications and Information Technology (Calit2) and the J. Craig Venter Institute. It is dedicated to maintaining and disseminating raw environmental sequence data, associated metadata, pre-computed search results and associated tools that will enable researchers to focus on unraveling the biology of organisms and environments.

The Scripps Genome Center is proud to be a part of this exciting project that will facilitate and create revolutionary knowledge advances in marine microbial ecology, the microbial ecology of other natural environments and evolutionary biology.
